Heal In Motion is a physiotherapy practice located in the charming Plantage neighborhood of East Amsterdam, within the intimate setting of The Garage Gym. This cozy private gym offers patients a dedicated physiotherapy room and all the equipment necessary for comprehensive rehabilitation, along with a welcoming kitchen featuring a top-notch coffee machine.

Our mission at Heal In Motion is to help you recover and enhance your body's abilities through movement, aiming to prevent injuries and promote overall well-being. Our vision is to empower you with the knowledge and expertise needed to become autonomous in maintaining your health and regaining full confidence in your body and its capabilities.

We believe in a holistic approach to care, treating you as a whole person rather than just addressing isolated symptoms. Rehabilitation involves not only healing damaged tissues but also addressing the broader impacts of injury on your mental health, daily activities, and hobbies. Our goal is to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of your physical issues, enabling you to effectively manage and overcome their effects on your life, so you don't need us forever!

A core principle of our vision is that movement is healing. We emphasize an active and empowering approach to physiotherapy, as staying active is one of the best things you can do for your present and future health. Keep moving!

Our team

Meet the physiotherapists at Heal In Motion! All of us are dedicated to an active approach to recovery, focusing on movement and exercises. After playing volleyball for 15 years in France as an elite athlete, I decided to change my path and move to the Netherlands to focus on health, the body, and helping others. Physiotherapy is the perfect blend of two of my passions – movement and healthcare – and it has the power to significantly enhance people's daily lives and athletic journeys. This passion is why I chose to become a physiotherapist, particularly in the Netherlands, a country I fell in love with and now call home.

Working as a personal trainer at The Garage Gym, I realized how much I enjoyed the brand-new, cozy, and personal environment of this gym in the Plantage neighborhood. This inspired me to open my own physiotherapy practice, where I can share my knowledge and teach patients about their bodies and how to take care of it and cherish it. I firmly believe in the interconnectedness of the body and mind, and together they can contribute to overall well-being. I am dedicated and eager to guide anyone seeking my help, always providing honest advice and fostering accountability to empower you in taking good care of yourself and building resilience against physical challenges. My mission is to help you feel in control.

I have extensive experience with sports such as volleyball, CrossFit, strength training, Hyrox, and horse riding. My passion for the body extends to specific areas like the knees, hips, shoulders, and back, as well as functional aspects such as managing multiple sclerosis or enhancing sports performance.

My name is Emese. I am a physiotherapist, personal trainer and neuroreahabiliation specialist, specifically trained in integrated rehabilitation and female health.

I know from personal experience how it feels to be injured and in pain—you feel like you can't continue with your everyday life and sports. I advocate for recognizing patterns and causes of injury, aiming for prevention rather than just topical treatment. Additionally, I prioritize understanding the unique aspects of the female body, including the changes during pregnancy and postpartum.

Feel free to book a session with me and I will answer any questions regarding your health and needs.
